I'm thinking about going for something like this. Do you think I can pull it off? Also, what do you think about the side bangs? I'm giving serious thought to trying the long, side-swept bangs, but they are such a commitment! Any thoughts, cautions, advice?

Ok, if you cut your hair like that. You will have to fix it everyday. Are you committed to that?
I second Melanie's comment. Also, since you have your hair chemically straightened, will it have as much volume as that girl's in the picture? As far as the side-swept bangs go, I think they would be pretty. Beware though, depending on how short you cut them, it could make it difficult to pull your hair up in a ponytail.
I love the hair pic and think your hair would look great like that. You would need to put large hot curlers in each morning, take them out and go. You might want to keep your bangs a little long to begin with and then if you needed them shorter, go for it.

I think your hair would look great like that, but I do recommend longer side bangs. Mine are too short right now and are driving me crazy - always in my eyes!! Glad you are doing well!
