Just arrived at Yankee stadium
Outside the stadium

View from our seats (though in person, everyone looked much bigger)
Chris & I in our seats

I couldn't resist putting this one in - it's a beautiful little spot we walk past on our way home from the W. 4th St. subway stop.
We had such a fun time last night completing yet another New Yorker rite of passage - watching the Yankees! The weather couldn't have been better for being out all night (the game lasted right at 4 hours & we stayed til the end) and the Yankee fans (including Regis Philbin himself, who was also in attendance) were in high spirits. Chris' wonderful boss, Alec, has season tickets & wasn't going to make it to the game that night, so he offered Chris & me his seats (behind home plate)! Admittedly, I don't know much about baseball, but I had heard of several of the players we saw: Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeeter, Johnny Damon, & Jason Giambi. Ultimately, thanks to our faithful support, the Yankees prevailed over the Orioles 8-5. Game highlights included watching Hideki Matsui hit a home-run, learning the cheer - Hip Hip Jorge (as in Jorge Posada the catcher & pronounced whore-hey - when proclaimed in unison, it sounds very similar to Hip Hip Horay!), & of course, having a hot dog & coke. Oh, & there was also some drama when an Orioles player got thrown out. Good times =)!

LOVE the pictures and LOVE that some of the pictures actually have YOU in them!!! You look beautiful! I'm glad you two had a good time at the game and you were finally exposed to MLB. Before I know it you'll be watching Sports Center and keeping up with all the players' stats :)
Hey! Congratulations on passing the bar! I know that's old news, but its new news to me! I'm so jealous, the bar seems so far away! The Yankees game looked fun! Even if you're not a fan, MLB games are always so much fun!! And I wanted to let you know I got called out to stand up and brief a case for the first time in my Contracts class today. I almost died, but I think I did okay....maybe there's a trial lawyer in me yet! ;) haha! have a great day! talk to you later!
