. . . by Fresh Direct!!!! Only two words to describe this grocery shopping experience - TOTALLY AMAZING! You go online (forgoing the 1.5 mi. roundtrip hike to the grocery store), pick out your groceries category by category, review your order, schedule your delivery time, place the order, and voila - your groceries arrive at your door looking like this
The outside of the box comes with a detailed list of everything contained inside
And when you open it up, everything is so nicely packaged!
So, you may ask, what's the catch? Are the groceries more expensive - nope, they're actually cheaper than the two other grocery stores we have previously shopped at. Do they charge an arm & a leg to deliver - nope, for only $4.99 total, they pick out, package & deliver your order (considering if one were to ride the subway to the grocery store it would cost $4 round-trip, that's a steal; also note, $4.99 is the minimum you would pay for delivery at a grocery store where you actually physically went there & picked everything out). The very professional, & nice delivery man even told us to have a blessed day =). Are the groceries an inferior quality - nope, I'm much happier with the produce they selected than what I come home with after an hour of standing at the stall deliberating!
So it's settled - I'm a Fresh Direct kind of girl! I feel like I should send them a thank you note!

With price/quality/service like that, how could you not be a "Fresh Direct kind of girl?!" I'm so glad you've found something that will make your grocery shopping experience less complicated. Have you checked to see if they have sugar cookie dough for fruit pizza? Or, if not cookie dough, at least flour so you can make your own cookie dough? :)
That is so cool! I hate grocery shopping and would pay a lot more than 5 bucks to avoid it. Plus, I bet you actually spend less since you have to think about what you are ordering instead of roaming aimlessly- less impulse buying.
