Life in the Journey

I have now officially been to all of my classes & am committed (as drop/add ended yesterday). Here's the quick synopsis:

Property I & II - moves really fast & the professor is vicious when he calls on us! I should be on call next class, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Survey of Tax Procedure - the nicest professor ever! The kind that makes your answer sound right even if it isn't - love him!

Income Taxation of Trusts & Estates - pretty harry stuff! The professor is an adjunct & this is his first time teaching the class, so you can imagine. It's not until 8 p.m. & I'm definitely having to fight to stay awake!

Accounting for Lawyers - see previous post. The professor is SUCH A NICE MAN! He's probably in his 70s pushing 80. Today he went into this whole talk about Pavarotti & what he meant not only to music, but to the world. He spoke about seeing him at the Met (something I look forward to being able to say . . . "I remember when I saw so & so at the Met"). He ended it by saying he wasn't sure what it had to do with accounting, but it had to do with life and we are all people (I wish all professors had that perspective)

Timing Issues & the Income Tax - same professor as Survey of Tax Procedure. He's pretty young - early to mid 30s. He already knew all of our names the first day of class - is that a nice guy or what!?
