Though I've been extremely hesitant to do the whole NYC theme, when I saw this template I couldn't resist BECAUSE -- YOU ACTUALLY CAN SEE OUR BUILDING IN THE PIC (how awesome is that!?). So, to locate it, start at the left of the picture and scan right until you see the relatively short stair-steppy, pyramidesque building (it's about four buildings from the far left). Okay, now, look at the building two to the right of it in the background - it's tall and round with a satellite dish on top. And there you have it, our apartment! The coolest part is that now, when you read this blog, you'll be seeing some of the same exact views I see out of the windows as I sit here typing! If that's not connecting with your readers, I don't know what is =).

I'm calling this Part I because I have high hopes of getting some great shots of the storefronts on 5th Ave - especially Bloomingdale's! These are from our date night to see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular - 75th Anniversary Edition =).

Those pictures are beautiful!!! What a treat to get to see the Rocketts (sp?)! Thank you for sharing your pictures...for a moment I was able to imagine Christmastime in NY (cool weather, beautiful decorations, etc.) instead of Christmastime in Alabama (77 degrees, no pretty decorations...well, you get the point). Love you bunches and am looking forward to "Christmastime Part II"!

P.S. Please take a picture of mom getting "hugs and kisses" from Chris. :)
